GED, plus:
Documentation of completion of the Intro to Child Care Profession that are required by Wisconsin Day Care License Requirement (or mustreceive within 6 months of employment) Experience working with low-income and multi-cultural families Title: Nutrition Service Provider III/Cook Wage: $11.67 per hour Location: East Madison Hours: M-F 7:30-4 pm (40 hours per week/Full-year) Description/Qualifications: The Nutrition Services Provider Ill will promote high nutritional standards in DCPC double-session sites and multi-site locations. Responsible for the areas of food preparation, food service, clean-up and site sanitation.
- Experience or coursework in food preparation in a child care setting is desired
- Prepares breakfast, snack and lunch according to the Department of Public Instruction guidelines
- Previous experience working in a food preparation position and in a child care setting is desired
- Candidates must have flexibility to work in unfamiliar kitchen and the desire to work in classroom in between kitchen duties
- Supervisory experience is required
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
