This is a well powered machine capable of many tasks. It comes with all of the basic attachments most users will need. This is an ideal food processor for someone who normally only prepares food for 1 or 2 people. There were a few complaints that it is too heavy. You should keep in mind that a more powerful motor will not only perform better but also weigh more. This extra weight also adds to the overall stability of the machine. A quality motor just weighs more, so the heft of this food processor should really be viewed as a pro, not a con. There were also afew complaints about this food processor not being able to process enough food at one time. It is important to understand that this is a compact food processor, not a full size. The size refers to the capacity of the bowl filled to the top, which can't be done. How much you can fill it depends on the product you are processing. For more information on food processor sizes, see our There are 342 detailed food processor reviews available for this Cuisinart 7 cup model, written by real people who have used it.       Bowl Size – Compact – 7 Cup Accessories and extras – multi-purpose stainless steel blade, reversible slicing/shredding disc Warranty – hassle free replacement warranty Overall Rating – 3.5 out of 5 stars Overall Review – Only 56% of the reviews for this KitchenAid food processor were very positive and accompanied by a 4 or 5 star rating. Almost all of the negative reviews center around the work bowl. There are two issues with it. First, many reviewers had the bowls actuallybreak and needed a replacement bowl. The plus side to this is that it gives you a glimpse into KitchenAid's customer service record, which is excellent. KitchenAid sent replacement bowls, free of charge, to those whose bowls had broken. But that does not excuse the bowls for being cheap and prone to breakage. The second issue with this product bowls lies within the design, which allows for food and liquids to get trapped within the handle. You can not get anything out once it goes in, and this can become a food safety issue. This may be happening with other brands, but KitchenAid brings attention to the issue with its see-through handle. But keep in mind, when comparing it to other food processor brands, that just because you can't see into the handle, it doesn't mean that stuff isn't getting trapped there. The positive reviews rave about this very powerful yet quiet machine. It is very well-powered and the blades and discs are super sharp and do a great job. A few unfavorable reviewsreferred to this food processor’s inability to process large amounts of food at once. This will be in issue in any compact model, the only way around it is to buy a full size food processor. There were also a few complaints about how heavy this appliance is. This should actually be viewed as a pro, not a con. A well-powered food processor will always be heavy. A quality motor weighs more. There is one problem mentioned in the reviews of this model of which you certainly ought to be made aware; KitchenAid does not make several of their attachments in the 7 cup size. The dough blade and a few of the slicing and shredding discs are only available for the the full sized models.
