Hi folks,
some days have already passed since the time when I first started to slowly change my dreams to the reality and began to plan a track I’d like to travel on my fully loaded bicycle this summer. The target was set quite clearly – my choice number one was Iceland. Yes, I tended to go to Norway or other Scandinavian countries on the first impression, I even had planned rough track from Bodø to Nordkapp already but the exotica of the Iceland, rough and mostly untouched nature, in many parts of the Iceland without any signs of inhabitation just attracted me much stronger.
We need some higher challenges sometimes to test ourselves fully, right? Can’t just always have an easy touring trip like that one in populated Switzerland, Austria last time or in other European countries where there is no way to test survival skills ;). Such a trip is too smooth without any real challenge and adventure. Food shops in every corner of the country, no threat of starvation – it’s no real adventure. It’s no ICELAND :).
So it didn’t take a long time and I have bought air ticket from Czech Republic, Prague to the Iceland – Keflavik airport (international airport near Reykjavik).
Iceland – this breathtaking country with superb nature fascinates me the more the higher amount of blogs, photographs, videos and other materials about this country I browse.
